Workshop to explore the role of organisms smaller than 10 micron, a size category that is as yet not being recognised by the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention.

This workshop is separate form from the series of three detection workshops that refer to the categories of BWMC D-2 Standard (Organisms > 50 micron, organisms between 10 and 50 micron, specified human-pathogenic bacteria.)
